HISTORY of PARAGON LLC

PARAGON, LLC was founded in January of 2007 with the express interest of developing a small firm focused on delivering exceptional value and service in the construction consulting sector of the real estate industry. Based on this premise, the services delivered are in direct alignment with the level of service proposed during the marketing process. In simple terms: “PARAGON will deliver on what is sold.”

As the name suggests, it is my intent to provide the definitive model of excellence for Project Management to Owners in a direct and easily accessible manner.

This model relies on superior leadership, experienced technical support and the presence of consistent, professional presence based on experience. Owners benefit from receiving all of these seldom found traits by engaging my services throughout the entire project management process. My objective is to consistently align myself with other organizations and entities which possess the similar values of excellence, value and focus to ultimately ensure that all projects present a positive experience of having their expectations met throughout the “real estate experience.”

Based on my tenure in the construction industry, which oddly enough started after a brief transition period in banking, I developed a number of comprehensive skills that enable me to span all elements of the corporate real estate process. My career in the industry started with an assignment of a field laborer, and then quickly graduated to site superintendent and, as a result of aptitude and effort, ultimately to executive corporate real estate roles in commercial, educational, healthcare and full-service real estate organizations. Throughout this path, I was exposed to all perspectives with regard to project planning, sales and marketing, estimating, filed management, contract structure and team development. In these roles, I experienced all facets of either, personally delivering on the contracted services or, holding accountable various service providers. As a result of actually functioning in and delivering the various aspects of the product being sold, I recognized a niche for providing clients with value based on providing capable and consistent efforts directly related to the “sell.”

This “doing” is the differentiating factor that separates true Project Management professionals from theoretical process managers.My experience is tested and this commitment to excellence resulted in PARAGON.

With the creation of this venture, I intend to eliminate the distinct variable of expertise in the staff that many companies propose versus the actual team that executes the contract and deliverables. Essentially, the range of experience between the “front-end” professionals and the “on-site” team vary from recent college graduates to very focused, but limited professionals, who do not generally possess the broad knowledge required to effectively lead the construction process. It is my personal philosophy and professional commitment that PARAGON will only ally itself with the most technically savvy and experienced Owners and professionals in the industry to establish a level of expectation with clients that other “commodity” project management groups simply can not achieve.

This is the essence of team leadership; putting capable individuals it the right role where their value, time commitment and focus aligns with the Owner and supports the project’s goals.

This ideology was the genesis of PARAGON.
